A closed envelope. A handwritten letter that reads: 'Oh Mama, this place is exactly what I had hoped for! Sunshine every day, doing what I love, and things are only a little bit crazier than where we're from! (On a bad day, of course!) I miss the scenery back home too, you can't see the star is that well out here. At least the views of the mountains make up for that! I've been over the moon with my new gig too. Feels like I'm wearing 100 different hats. I'm getting to try out things I didn't think I'd be neck deep, in. I've been busier than usual, but it's been so much fun! I'm not really allowed to talk about work, but I can say it's their first production. Ain't that something? Even with all the joy, I still miss you something awful, Mama. I wish we could talk on the porch and share a ♥︎g♥︎lass or two of sweet tea. Don't worry about me at all! Everybody here has been just peachy keen, I really feel like I belong here. Let's call soon, maybe on your next day off! There's someone I wanted to tell you about that I think you'll love! Love you lots Mama!' There's a postcard with a photograph of a flower field behind the letter.
